Limpiando un poco mi biblioteca me encontré los libros de Escuela Para Todos. Desde que tengo memoria siempre los coleccionaba, recuerdo comprarlos en la esquina del Edificio Numar siempre que iba a San José.
Tiene de todo un poco pero lo bueno es que tiene recetas sencillas y bastante comunes, tanto, que son apetecibles...
Así que aquí les dejo la receta de esta bebida típica... yo no le agregaría tanta azúcar jejeje pero mejor endulcen al gusto... ¿les parece?
Ingredientes
2 tazas de arroz crudo
2 tazas de azúcar (o buscar un sustituto mejor)
Media taza de maní pelado y tostado
6 cucharadas de cacao en polvo
1 litro de leche descremada
1 cucharadita de canela
1 litro de agua
Preparación
Lavar bien el arroz y remojar en el litro de agua por un día entero.
Al día siguiente se licúa junto al maní y la canela, para luego pasarlo por un colador.
Calentar en una olla la leche hasta que hierva, se mezcla con el cacao y se retira del fuego.
Dejar enfriar para luego mezclar todo junto más el azúcar (al gusto, ojo con o abusar del dulce).
Servir con hielo... Rinde alrededor de 10 tazas.
